Arkansas Faith–Academic Initiatives for Transforming Health (FAITH) Network is a statewide partnership between the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and faith-based organizations. The FAITH Network builds sustainable infrastructure that equips faith communities to meaningfully participate in translational research and ensures research findings are returned to faith communities in accessible and relevant ways to improve health across Arkansas.

Objectives
Objective 1: Enhance the Capacity of Faith Communities to Engage in Translational and Patient-Centered Research
The FAITH Network aims to strengthen faith communities’ ability to actively participate in translational research by offering ongoing, customized training that reflects the unique strengths, needs, and contexts of faith-based settings.
Objective 2: Facilitate Bidirectional Sharing of Research with Faith Communities Across the State
The FAITH Network uses strategies to make sure that research findings from UAMS projects are effectively shared with faith communities across the state in relevant, actionable formats. This two-way sharing promotes mutual learning, helps improve health-promoting practices in faith settings, and builds trust between UAMS and faith-based partners.
