Clinical Trials Learning Collaborative Seminar Series
The Clinical Trials Learning Collaborative Seminar Series is an important step in expanding clinical trial activity at UAMS. This initiative reflects the Translational Research Institute’s (TRI) commitment to supporting clinician-researchers and ensuring our patients have access to the latest therapies.
Join us the fourth Tuesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom. Registration is available here.
If you are unable to attend live, we’ve got you covered. Recordings of past seminars are available below so that you can learn from experts about clinical trial design, regulatory requirements, participant recruitment strategies and more.
The Need for Clinical Trials at UAMS
Our clinicians are among the most dedicated in the country, balancing heavy workloads while delivering exceptional care. However, as Arkansas’ only academic medical center, we must lead in clinical research to improve outcomes, foster innovation and address health disparities.
We recognize the challenges clinicians face, which is why TRI’s Clinical Trials Innovation Unit (CTIU) provides comprehensive support for conducting non-cancer clinical trials. From regulatory compliance to patient recruitment, we simplify the process so clinicians can focus on patient care while contributing to research that transforms lives.
Clinical trials benefit patients, create career development opportunities, and strengthen UAMS’ reputation for innovation. We encourage you to share this seminar series with your faculty and clinical teams. Together, we can grow our community of clinical trialists and expand UAMS’ impact.
