Trial Innovation Network

The Translational Research Institute (TRI) is part of the national Trial Innovation Network. This is a new collaborative effort within the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) Program aimed at executing trials better, faster, and more cost-efficiently with an emphasis on being a national laboratory to study, understand and innovate the process of conducting clinical trials.

The network’s partners are the Trial Innovation Centers (TICs), the CTSA Program Hubs and the Recruitment Innovation Center (RIC).

As a member of the CTSA consortium, TRI has aligned its mission with the NIH National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences to operate as a Trial Innovation Network Hub Liaison Team. As such, the TRI Liaison Team will lead the Network locally to connect the Hubs to the TICs and RIC.

The vision for the Trial Innovation Network is to “innovatively address critical roadblocks in clinical trials and accelerate the translation of novel interventions into life-saving therapies.”

The goal of the network is to start projects quickly and collaborate with other NIH Institutes and partners to launch clinical trials in 2017. The Trial Innovation Network is seeking your proposals. Submit your proposal (requires filling out a brief registration form).
