Translational Workforce Development

The Translational Workforce Development function aims to establish new and expand existing interdisciplinary and career-spanning training opportunities in translational research. Our goal is to attract outstanding students and faculty members to clinical and translational research careers and provide them the guidance and tools required to be successful, independent investigators.

Educational Opportunities
TRI is building a collaborative educational infrastructure to ensure integration of basic, clinical and community sciences.

Funded Training
TRI provides funded career development training to promote professional skills that enhance scientific productivity and leadership.

Diversity Initiatives
TRI is working to expand the number and diversity of students, trainees and faculty engaged in biomedical science and research disciplines.
